  • I, Tonya (2017)
  • Coco (2017)
  • Patti Cake$ (2017)
  • The Shape of Water (2017)
  • The Room (2003)
  • The Disaster Artist (2017)

  • Wind River (2017)
  • The Florida Project (2017)

The Good:

The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro is beautiful love story between a deaf cleaning lady at a government facility and an amphibious man from the sea. The cinematography is some of the best of the year, which we have become accustom to with del Toro’s work. Award season should be kind to this movie. Grade A

The Bad:

The Room, from 2003, is widely considered one of the worst movies of all time. I’m going to agree that it’s bad, but strangely fascinating at the same time. A must see movie if you want to be in the “club.” Grade F

The Old or Surprising:

I truly had no real expectations of Coco. The trailers looked solid but they didn’t have me counting down the days. When I finally saw it, it immediately became one of my favorite movies of the year. Easily a 10/10 movie for me and I’ll even go as far to say it’s the best Pixar movie of the past few years. Best since Toy Story 3 and Up I would say. Grade A+
