2015 Spring Movie Preview

Spring preview time! It’s time to look at what has already came out this Spring and what else is on the way. Here are my most anticipated movies for March, April, and May.

Top 5 Most Anticipated Spring 2015 Movies

5. Aloha, May 29th

– Cameron Crowe comes back with a big cast of heavy hitters. For me the magic hasn’t even there since Jerry Maguire, so hopefully this is a return to form. I have really high hopes regardless of the non-flattering reviews it’s already receiving.

4. Tomorrowland, May 22nd

– Can a movie about a Disney theme park ride be good? The Pirates of the Caribbean succeed at first but have since ran that rum bottle dry. The visuals look fantastic and Brad Bird has done some amazing work in the animated world and recent hit Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. If the story can’t match the visuals, this movie might be yesterday city instead.

3. Avengers: Age of Ultron, May 1st

– Oh comic book movies… I have a healthy love hate with you. I get the excitement and The Avengers movie was pretty great. I’m just not the target audience for these. I didn’t grow up idolizing them or reading about them. Why do I have it 3rd then? I think it’s going to be the majority of peoples top movie this Spring and I’m sure ill get a big kick out of it too. Just need to sleep off this comic book movie fatigue.

2. Slow West, May 15th

– I’m sure I have mentioned this before and if I haven’t here you go… I am a sucker for westerns. I really love the old west. It’s right there with war movies, I just can’t get enough. Loved the look of this trailer, Michael Fassbender is fantastic and you know he will hit it out of the park. Put together a well written story and this will jump up the Top 10 list early for me.

1. Mad Max: Fury Road, May 15th

– I should say as of now I haven’t seen the original trilogy but fully intend on watching it before May 15th. This is possibly the best trailer I have ever seen. The visuals are beautiful and the action looks plentiful which is perfect for a summer movie blockbuster. May 15th will definitely be a lovely day.
